General Questions
What exactly is messy play?
Messy play is open-ended, sensory-rich exploration using materials like paint, food, sand, and water. It focuses on the process of discovery rather than a final product.
What age range is the play space for?
We welcome children who are sitting up to the age of 8, with sessions thoughtfully curated for different developmental stages and interests.
How do I book a session?
Simply visit our Sessions page to choose your preferred time and date. All bookings are managed online for a seamless experience before you arrive.
Allergens
What about allergies?
We take care to use material that are safe and child-friendly, however, some of our experiences may include food-based ingredients such as oats, flour, rice and other pantry items. If your child has allergies or sensitives, it is essential that you inform us prior to attending so we can support you appropriately and keep the space safe for everyone. While we take great care in preparation, we ask all parents/carers to be mindful and supervise closely during all play activities.
Policies
Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes! All families are required to sign a waiver before attending their first session. This helps keep everyone safe and informed.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Do you take photos/videos during the session?
We may take photos and videos occasionally during our sessions to share with our Messy Kids Co community. We will always be discreet and respectful, and no child is ever identified.
Consent is collected prior to attendance, and we fully respect any preference not to be included in photography/media.
We also ask that you do not take any photos/videos of any other child besides your own.
